The domain
Coming from a long winemaking tradition since 1936, today the fourth generation of the ACCARIES family perpetuates the transmitted know-how, bringing with it its own experience.
Ideally located in the heart of the Marne Valley, one of the three major Champagne appellation regions, just 1 hour from Paris and near Reims and Epernay, our property is located in the hamlet of Chavenay sur the municipality of Dormans. At the south-east end of the village, our house is surrounded by vineyards and offers a magnificent view of the hills and the valley.
The Marne Valley is a terroir historically composed of Pinots Meuniers (black grapes). Our farm covers 17 hectares, including 12 hectares of Pinots Meuniers, 2 hectares of Pinots Noirs and 3 hectares of Chardonnay (white grapes).
Since always respecting the nature and the environment, our exploitation, already engaged in a rational viticulture dynamics, is launching today in a process of certification in sustainable viticulture.
